DigiTech Releases GNX1, January 20, 2001 - GENETX technology. GNX1 GENETX Guitar Processor. GENETX is a software technology used with the DigiTech AudioDNA DSP engine. Enables user to create custom amplifier and cabinet models.
Tools include Warp control and cabinet tuning. Combine the characteristics of various amps and cabs. Hybrid hypermodel.
Studio-quality effects complement the powerful Tone processing. Sound shaping ability. Dynamics processing effects like compression and noise reductions. Chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, delay and reverb. Whammy pitch shifting, Synth Talk and Ya Ya.
Useful practicing tools: Learn-A-Lick feature is a phrase sampler to record and slow down album passages without changing the pitch. Rhythm Trainer provides timing practice with 10 styles of drum patterns.
