• Exotic but inexpensive American NOS tubes that operate on a 12.6 volt heater, rather than the industry standard 6.3 volts.

• 1 twin triode 12SL7 (high gain), although you can substitute a "12SN7" (lower gain)
• 1 output power tube: a sweet Pentode 12V6 run in Class A
• Cathode biased, so tube changes can be made without electronic adjustments
