2 Channel digital equalizer

MIDI Interface - The MIDI Interface allows EQ programs to be recalled and parameter changes to be made from a MIDI sequencer, computer or similar device. The MIDI interface also features a bulk dump function that allows the contents of the YDG2030 memory to be transferred to any MIDI device capable of recording bulk data.

"Flat" key sets all gain parameters to "0" in one operation

Emphasis On/Off control

20-bit digital graphic equalizer with intuitive interface and outstanding performance.

Superior Audio Quality - 110-dB dynamic range, precise response from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and total harmonic distortion of less than 0.007% (emphasis on). 20-bit A/D and D/A converters sampling at 44.1 kHz.

2-channel 30-band Format With switchable Gain - It features a 2-channel 30-band EQ format with 1/3-octave bands from 25 Hz to 20 kHz. Extra control flexibility is provided by switchable +/-12 dB or +/-6 dB gain ranges.

LPF, HPF and Four Notch Filters per Channel - It has programmable high-pass and low-pass filters as well as a group of four notch filters with variable frequency and bandwidth.

40-program Memory - Up to 40 complete equalizer setups can be stored in internal RAM memory and recalled as needed.

Independently Programmable Channel Delays - Each channel also provides a variable delay parameter that can be used for phase alignment, speaker distance compensation, and other applications. The delay range is from 0 to 714 milliseconds, adjustable in sub-millisecond steps.

Feedback-seeking Sweep Function - The YDG2030 includes a sweep function that lets you sweep a preset amount of boost or cut continuously through all bands. Once the problem band has been located, you can easily compensate in the normal way.

Professional Analog Inputs and Outputs - Both the YDG2030's inputs and outputs are electronically balanced with XLR-type connectors. Extra I/O versatility is provided by independent -20/+4 dB level selectors for the inputs and outputs.

Expanded EQ Network Capability - The network can include up to 31 YDG2030 units to efficiently handle even the largest and most complex sound reinforcement systems. See Also

Product Information for model: YDP2006. Description: Digital parametric equalizer

20-bit digital parametric equalizer with graphical interface and outstanding performance.

MIDI Interface - A MIDI interface that allows EQ programs to be recalled and parameter changes to be made from a MIDI sequencer, computer or similar device. The MIDI interface also features a bulk dump function that allows the contents of the memory to be transferred to any MIDI device capable of recording bulk data.

Unmatched Audio Quality - 110dB dynamic range, precise response from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, and total harmonic distortion less than 0.007% (emphasis on) 20-bit A/D and D/A convertors sampling at 44.1 kHz.

A Choice of EQ Modes - There is a choice of two EQ modes. In the stereo mode it offers 2-channels of 6-band parametric EQ while in the mono mode you get a single channel of 12-band parametric equalization. In either mode you have +/-12 dB gain control in each band, plus Q control ranging from 0.5 to 10.

LPF, HPF, and Multiple Notch Filters - In the stereo EQ mode, independently programmable high-pass and low-pass filters as well as a group of four notch filters with variable frequency and bandwidth. In the mono mode the YDP2006 provides the same high-pass and low-pass filters with no less than eight programmable notch filters.

40-program Memory - The YDP2006 stores and recalls up to 40 different EQ programs as required. You can recall via the front-panel keys or the MIDI interface or Y-485 bus.

Independently Programmable Channel Delays - For phase alignment and speaker distance compensation, each channel provides a variable delay parameter that can be set anywhere from 0 to 714 milliseconds in sub-millisecond steps.

Easy Programming Interface - A graphic LCD panel is a graphic representation of EQ curves, simultaneous display of related parameters, and comprehensive display layouts. Another feature is the provision of three rotary encoders for data entry. In addition it has a parameter copy function that allows parameters to be copied from an existing program and then edited as required.

Reliable Balanced Analog Inputs and Outputs - Electronically balanced input and outputs with XLR-type connectors. Versatility is provided by independent -20/+4 dB level selectors for the inputs and outputs.

Multi-equalizer Network Capability - Up to 31 YDP2006 units can be included in the network. All parameters can be remotely accessed and controlled from a single master YDP2006 unit or a computer running Yamaha QS1 Digital Equalizer Control Software.
